When should I book you?
Getting on the calendar about 2-3 months before your due date is ideal. We will book you based on your due date, and once baby is here we adjust your session date accordingly! Newborn sessions are then usually scheduled within the first 5 weeks.
For fresh 48 I ask that you let me know asap once baby is on the way! This way I can start coordinating with you to meet you at the hospital for your session.
What should I wear?
Can't decide what you should wear for your session? Don't worry, I'll help you with choosing outfits. I have a growing client closet as well and can send you an album with what I have available for you to borrow!
What style of photography do you do?
My style is candid and laid back. I will pose you as needed, then ask you to interact. Don't worry, all you need to do is act like you like each other! For newborn sessions its very similar, I do not do traditional “potato sack” studio sessions.
I'm interested in a newborn session, do you include any family photos or just ones of the squish?
Newborn sessions include the whole family! I love getting family shots, sibling shots, and plenty of detail and solo shots of squish. Capturing your whole family during this chapter is important.
What if baby comes early?
Don't worry! I build buffers into my schedule to account for the spontaneous nature of squishes! Just let me know once baby is on the way and we will touch base again after to get your session date set.
Do you offer payment plans?
Of course! I require a non refundable retainer to get you on the schedule and full payment due by the date of your session. If you'd like to break down the payments into smaller payments along the way just let me know and I'm happy to set that up!
Do you have props or swaddles?
I bring minimal props to lifestyle sessions. I love capturing your family as they are in this moment and it's so important to be able to look back on how your home and family has changed over the years!
If you have any special heirloom items you want included in your session, please bring them out! A special lovey or crocheted blanket from nana is always so sweet to include!
